- Residential Design + Build in West Palm Beach, FL
One City, Several Very Different Housing Markets
West Palm Beach does not renovate like a single city, because it was not built like one. East of the interstate you have neighborhoods laid out a century ago, full of Mission, Mediterranean Revival, and frame vernacular homes on compact lots. Head west and the map turns into planned communities from the 1990s and 2000s with wide floor plans, high ceilings, and finishes that came out of a builder's standard package. Downtown adds a third category entirely, with condo towers where the walls are fixed and the building has opinions.
A renovation approach that works beautifully in one of those settings can be exactly wrong in another. Knowing which one your address belongs to is where the design work actually starts.
Milano Dezign designs and builds residential interiors across West Palm Beach, carrying the full project: drawings, materials, trades, and schedule. A single room or an entire house, it runs the same way.
What We Design and Build Inside the Home
Kitchens and bathrooms are our most requested projects and where most client relationships begin. Whole-house and full-condo renovations are where the design work has the most range. The scope reaches well beyond those two rooms:

Kitchens and bathrooms, primary suites included

Bedrooms, closets, and dressing rooms

Living rooms, dining rooms, foyers, and entryways

Home offices, home gyms, and home spa or wellness rooms

Media rooms, home theaters, and entertainment rooms

Laundry and utility spaces

Whole-house renovations and complete condo remodels
Every project draws on the same craft: custom cabinetry, custom millwork and built-ins, countertops in granite, quartz, wood, or soapstone, flooring, tile, integrated and LED lighting, glass partitions, and appliance integration. Where the project scope justifies it, we produce 3D renderings so the design is something you can evaluate rather than picture in your head.
Why Clients Give Us the Whole Project
The standard route splits your renovation between two companies that answer to different people. When the field turns up something the drawings did not anticipate, the two of them work it out through you, and the calendar pays for the delay.
We do not run that way. The designer who develops your project also manages it on site, so intent never gets lost in translation and no decision waits on an outside firm to return a call. One person owns the outcome from the first sketch through the final inspection.
The design perspective is European, rooted in the Italian tradition the firm was built around and adapted to how people live in South Florida. Proportion before ornament, warm and durable materials, and layouts that earn their keep every day of the week.
The firm is led by Abraham, our lead designer, who brings more than 15 years of hands-on design and construction experience. Projects are built by appropriately licensed partners and trades working under our direction.
How a Project Moves From Idea to Finished Space
Consultation
We meet at the property, look at what is there, and give you a clear-eyed assessment of what the project involves.
Design
Layout, materials, and finishes are developed together, with stamped architectural drawings coordinated through our partnered architectural groups when the scope requires them.
Selections locked
Cabinetry, counters, tile, lighting, and hardware are chosen before demolition begins. Nothing derails a schedule faster than a decision still pending when the trades arrive.
Build
We manage trades, permits, inspections, and deliveries, and you get a straight answer any time you want to know where things stand.
Close-out
Punch list finished, walkthrough completed together, project delivered.
Working From the Historic Neighborhoods to the Western Communities
Our projects run from the newer communities out near Grassy Waters Preserve and the Apoxee Trail, through the neighborhoods around CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches and Tanger Outlets Palm Beach, and east toward the older residential districts closer to the water.
In the eastern historic neighborhoods, several districts carry design review requirements that shape what an exterior change can look like, and the homes themselves have detailing and proportions worth working with rather than around. Older construction also brings its own realities behind the walls, from original framing to systems that have been modified more than once over the decades, and we plan for that rather than assume it away. Out west, the constraint shifts from historic guidelines to community architectural review, and the opportunity shifts too: those homes usually have the volume and square footage already, so the gain comes from reworking flow and replacing standard finishes with materials that match the scale of the house. Downtown condos operate under their own building rules, which we build into the schedule from day one.
Humidity is the common denominator, with salt exposure added closer to the coast. Cabinetry construction, hardware, adhesives, substrates, and stone all get specified for those conditions, because a finish that photographs well and fails in three years is not a saving.
Our design-build office is on West Cypress Creek Road in Fort Lauderdale, and we work north throughout the Palm Beaches, including communities such as Boca Raton and Highland Beach, and across the wider South Florida corridor.
See the Work Before You Commit to Anything
Completed projects tell you more than a paragraph of claims. Current and recent work is posted on our Instagram and YouTube channels, and past clients have described the experience in their own words on our Google Business Profile. During your consultation we will walk you through projects comparable to yours in scope and house type.
Our work carries a one-year workmanship warranty, and manufacturer warranties are honored on the materials we install. Inquiries are answered within 24 hours on business days.
Questions West Palm Beach Homeowners Ask Us
Is the design and the construction handled by the same company?
Yes. Design, selections, project management, and construction all sit with our team. You hire once and deal with one lead.
Can you work on a home in one of the historic districts?
Yes. Homes in designated districts come with design review considerations, and those are addressed during design rather than discovered at permitting. The goal is a renovation that reads as though it belonged to the house all along.
How does the first meeting work?
We come to the property, listen to what you want the space to do, and outline what the project realistically requires. Nothing is committed at that point.
Let's Create Something Extraordinary Together
