[ FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA ]

This Is Our Home City, Not a Service Area on a Map

Our design-build office sits on West Cypress Creek Road, which means Fort Lauderdale is not a market we drive out to. It is where our team works most days of the week.

That proximity shows up in ordinary, practical ways. Site visits happen the same week instead of getting batched into a route. A question about a wall condition gets answered by someone who can stand in front of it. When a delivery window shifts, someone is close enough to handle it.

Milano Dezign designs and builds residential interiors throughout the city, and we carry the entire project: drawings, materials, trades, and schedule. If you are planning one room or rethinking an entire house, that is the work.

[ WHAT WE DESIGN AND BUILD ]

What We Design and Build Inside the Home

Kitchens and bathrooms are our most requested projects and the usual starting point. Whole-house and full-condo renovations are where the design work stretches out. The catalog runs well past those:

Kitchens and bathrooms, including primary suites

Bedrooms, closets, and dressing rooms

Living rooms, dining rooms, foyers, and entryways

Home offices, home gyms, and home spa or wellness rooms

Media rooms, home theaters, and entertainment rooms

Laundry and utility spaces

Whole-house renovations and full-condo remodels

The work itself runs on custom cabinetry, custom millwork and built-ins, countertops in granite, quartz, wood, or soapstone, flooring, tile, integrated and LED lighting, glass partitions, and appliance integration. Where the scope justifies it, we produce 3D renderings so the design is something you can look at rather than imagine.

[ DESIGN AND BUILD, ONE TEAM ]

Why Clients Hand Us the Whole Thing

Split a renovation across a designer and a separate contractor and you inherit the gap between them. The drawings say one thing, the field says another, and you become the person carrying messages back and forth while the schedule slides.

We do not create that gap. The designer who draws your project is the same person who manages it through construction. There is no translation step, no waiting on an outside firm to weigh in, and no one to point elsewhere when something needs a decision.

The design sensibility is European, rooted in the Italian tradition the firm was built around, then adapted for South Florida. Restraint over decoration, warm materials, and layouts that work on an ordinary Wednesday.

The firm is led by Abraham, our lead designer, who brings more than 15 years of hands-on design and construction experience. Projects are built by appropriately licensed partners and trades working under our direction.

[ HOW IT WORKS ]

The Path From First Conversation to Finished Room

01

Consultation

We meet at the property, look at what exists, and give you an honest read on scope.

02

Design

We develop layout, materials, and finishes, with stamped architectural drawings coordinated through our partnered architectural groups when the project calls for them.

03

Selections locked

Cabinetry, counters, tile, lighting, and hardware are decided before demolition. Projects that slip almost always slip because a selection was still open when the trades needed it.

04

Build

We coordinate trades, permits, inspections, and deliveries, with one person keeping you current on where things stand.

05

Close-out

Punch list resolved, walkthrough done together, keys back in your hands.

[ WHERE WE WORK ]

Working Across the City, From the Beach to the Western Neighborhoods

Our projects run from the streets bordering Hugh Taylor Birch State Park and the properties near Las Olas Beach, through the residential blocks and condo buildings surrounding The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale, and south into the established neighborhoods near Snyder Park.

Most renovation conversations here begin in one of three places. Waterfront and canal homes are organized around the view and the dock, so sightlines, glazing, and how the main living spaces open toward the rear of the lot drive the design. Mid-century inland homes from the 1950s and 1960s bring terrazzo, generous lots, and floor plans chopped into small rooms, which makes them excellent candidates for opening up the plan without touching the footprint. Beach and downtown condos are a fixed envelope, where the design problem is function and the logistical problem is the building itself.

Distance from the water changes the specification more than people expect. Closer in, salt-laden air is hard on hardware, hinges, fixture finishes, and anything with an untreated metal component, so we specify accordingly rather than discovering the problem later. Humidity is the constant everywhere, which shapes how we handle cabinetry construction, adhesives, substrates, and stone selection across the whole city.

We also work throughout the surrounding communities such as Wilton Manors, Plantation, and Pompano Beach, and across the wider South Florida corridor.

[ OUR WORK ]

Look at the Work Before You Decide Anything

Photographs of finished projects are worth more than any claim we could write here. Recent and current work is on our Instagram and YouTube channels, and past clients have described the experience in their own words on our Google Business Profile. During your consultation we will walk you through projects comparable to yours in scope and house type.

Our work carries a one-year workmanship warranty, and manufacturer warranties are honored on the materials we install. Inquiries are answered within 24 hours on business days.

[ QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ]

Questions Fort Lauderdale Homeowners Ask Us

Yes. Design, selections, project management, and construction all sit with our team. You hire once.

Yes. Kitchens and baths are the most common first projects, and many clients continue room by room from there.

We visit the property, listen to what you want the space to do, and lay out what the project realistically involves. No commitment required to have that conversation.

Let's Create Something Extraordinary Together

Your house should work for the way you live in it. If it does not, that is a design problem, and design problems are solvable.
