This is an unincorporated community named after the Phoenix Manufacturing Company. Well known for fox hunting this section of Baltimore County is rich in history, parks, museums and recreational sites. This region is considered “horse country” with almost 150 horse farms covering picturesque rolling countryside.
The total population of the city is 11,039 people. 17% of the population is 65 years and above, 18.2 % is between 55-64, 27.7% is between 35-54, 6% is between 25-34 and 7.3% is between 18 to 24 years old.

Kooper’s Jacksonville – The temperature of the food is always right and the meals are flavorful. The burgers are amazing and they serve seasonal fried oysters. The fish tacos and fajitas are the best.
Bagel Meister – This is an excellent place for breakfast. They serve the best bagels with toppings and dinks. Great service, coffee and there is even a newspaper offered. The bacon egg and cheese on the bagel is a favorite.
Fun Things to Do in Phoenix
Loch Raven Reservoir – This is a great place to enjoy hiking, kayaking, biking, swimming and checking out various wildlife. You can rent the kayak for $19 bucks for the entire day. Quite a lovely place to spend an afternoon with family.
Roosevelt Row – If you want to view some amazing graffiti art then check out the wall murals in Roosevelt row. There are little patios and art galleries all around the area. Nice place for a walk.
Eagle’s Nest – This is a historic home included in the National Register. It is a large fieldstone dwelling believed to have been constructed in the 1690s and completed in 1802 on part of a 2,500-acre tract named “The Valley of Jehoshaphat” by Richard Smith, Jr.
